This chest is just big enough to store bedding, photo albums or off-season clothing, and just small enough that it won’t overwhelm the room. It’s also just the right height to serve as a seat when slipping on your loafers. A sliding tray in the top helps you keep things organized. The project provides an excellent opportunity to practice fundamental skills such as dovetailing. You’ll be rewarding not only with better skills, but also a classic, Shaker-inspired chest that is sure to become a family treasure.
