The thick, sturdy lead in Dixon’s Reach Mechanical Pencil makes it ideal for woodworking and carpentry use, as it won’t break if it catches a patch of coarse grain. In addition, its slim barrel allows the pencil to reach through narrow holes and thick templates for marking purposes. As the lead wears, it’s easy to advance the lead without having to resort to a sharpener, but if you need a fine point, a sharpener is built in. The lead leaves clear, dark lines on most wet or dry surfaces. A 12-pack of lead refills is included.
Features:
- Makes it easy to mark hard-to-reach places such as drilled holes and tight corners
- Thick lead holds up to rugged use
- For rough marking, just advance the lead as it wears
- For fine marking, use the sharpener that fits into the butt end
- Marks on most wet or dry surfaces
- Includes a 12-pack of lead refills
