Extra Fine Stanley No. 65 Chamfer Spokeshave – Stanley-Marked Iron, Superb Original Japanning
A standout example of the Stanley No. 65 chamfer spokeshave, this piece is fitted with the correct Stanley-marked iron and retains superb original japanning—clean, glossy, and remarkably well-preserved. Designed with adjustable side fences, the No. 65 excels at cutting precise, repeatable chamfers on both straight and curved edges.
The fences slide smoothly and lock securely with thumb screws, allowing for fine-tuned control of chamfer width. The cutter is sharp and properly seated, and the body shows only minimal signs of use.
A fine tool for the cabinetmaker or user who values precision—and a top-shelf piece for collectors of Stanley’s more specialized offerings.
