The cutting edge of the Gränsfors Bruk Carpenter’s Axe is straight with a low blade angle. The curve on the lower edge of the head permits an excellent hand grip. It works well in dry wood for dimensioning and whittling; much like a good heavy knife.
The head weighs 1-1/2 lb. The face is 3-1/2″. The axe is fitted with an 18″ tight-grained hickory handle and comes with a grain-leather sheath with snap fastener.
