When you’re pushing your equipment through long hours in dusty conditions, your engine’s breathing clean air is what keeps expensive repairs at bay. A dirty or failing air filter lets grit and debris straight into the cylinders, where it acts like sandpaper on pistons and rings. This Baldwin primary air filter element gives you the first line of defense against costly engine damage, catching the big stuff before it can wreck your investment.
What You’re Getting
- Large 7 13/16-inch outer diameter with 14 3/4-inch length for maximum dirt-holding capacity
- Multi-layer pleated media that traps particles while maintaining the airflow your engine demands
- Dual gasket system – one attached and one included for proper sealing
- Robust construction that handles constant vibration and temperature swings
- Works with inner element PA2835 for complete two-stage filtration protection
Built for Real Heavy-Duty Work
This filter fits a wide range of heavy equipment and trucks from Atlas Copco, Bomag, Claas, John Deere, Liebherr, Volvo, DAF, Iveco, Mercedes-Benz, and Scania. Whether you’re running construction equipment, agricultural machinery, or heavy-duty trucks, this filter handles the demanding conditions these workhorses face every day. From excavators moving dirt to trucks hauling loads cross-country, clean air filtration keeps these engines running strong through thousands of operating hours.
Made to Last
Baldwin has been making quality filters for decades, and this one’s built to handle the harsh conditions your equipment faces every day. The pleated filter media captures fine particles while the robust construction stands up to engine vibration, temperature swings, and the constant airflow demands of hard-working engines. Quality materials mean consistent performance throughout the service interval.
Installation Notes
This is the primary (outer) element in a two-stage system, so make sure you’ve got a good secondary element installed too. When you’re changing filters, take a minute to clean out the air box and check for any cracks or loose clamps in the intake system. In extremely dusty conditions like harvest or construction work, you might need to change filters more frequently than normal service intervals suggest.
