Helpful in shops where space is limited, this machine combines a 12” planer with a 12” jointer, to surface and smooth your stock in just a few quick changeovers. It’s powered by a 3HP, 220-volt TEFC motor, for rugged performance. The jointer and planer tables are made of thick cast iron, machined smooth for efficient stock handling. The one-piece jointer tables lift up and out of the way quickly and easily to change over to planer use, minimizing downtime. Two rows of four-sided carbide insert cutters cut cleanly through hardwoods, softwoods, figured and interlocked-grain lumber. When one nicks or dulls, just loosen and rotate it to a fresh edge, then retighten. A large digital readout tracks the planer’s cutting depth, for pinpoint accuracy.
