To refine an edge and remove smaller nicks prior to final polishing, an Diamond Stone will get the job done quickly. Here’s the go-to for touching up edges that are in overall good working order. Extremely durable industrial-grade diamond abrasive is bonded to a steel plate, so this stone will never lose its flatness. While not mandatory, using a lubricant during sharpening can extend the life of the abrasive and help to clear metal swarf; be sure to dry the stone completely if water is used to prevent rust. To help secure your diamond stone for easier and cleaner use, we recommend our Silicone Sharpening Tray (74995, sold separately).
