When you’re running excavators for trenching, material handling, or site work, hydraulic problems can shut you down fast. This compact Baldwin filter might be small at just 1 1/2 inches long, but it plays a big role in keeping your hydraulic oil clean and your machine working smoothly. Clean hydraulic fluid is what keeps those expensive pumps, valves, and cylinders running right when you need them most.
Key Features
- Compact 1 1/2 inch length with 2 5/32 inch outer diameter fits tight spaces where larger filters won’t work
- Baldwin quality construction handles the pressure spikes and vibration that come with excavator work
- High-efficiency filtration media captures contaminants that can damage sensitive hydraulic components
- Direct replacement design makes installation quick and straightforward
Built for Heavy Equipment Work
This filter works across multiple excavator brands including Case, JCB, Kobelco, Link-Belt, and Volvo machines. Whether you’re using a compact excavator for utility work, a mid-size machine for foundation digging, or a larger excavator for heavy earthmoving, these machines depend on clean hydraulic fluid to power their boom, bucket, and track systems through demanding work cycles.
Made to Last
Baldwin has been making filters for decades and knows what it takes to protect hydraulic systems in demanding construction and excavation work. The filtration media and housing construction are built to handle the temperature swings, pressure cycles, and contamination loads that come with real-world hydraulic operation on job sites.
Installation Notes
This is a spin-on style filter that threads directly onto the filter base – just spin off the old filter and thread on the new one. Apply a thin film of clean hydraulic oil to the gasket before installation and hand-tighten plus 3/4 turn for proper sealing. Check your hydraulic fluid level after changing the filter and top off if needed.
