When your hydraulic system starts acting sluggish or you notice jerky movement on your excavator boom, bucket, or track drive, dirty hydraulic fluid is likely the culprit. Contaminated fluid circulating through your system can destroy expensive pumps, valves, and cylinders faster than you’d think. This Baldwin hydraulic filter keeps your fluid clean and your Kobelco or Komatsu running smooth when you’re digging, lifting, or moving material all day long.
What You’re Getting
- Large filtration capacity with 11 13/16 inch length and 5 29/32 inch outer diameter to handle heavy hydraulic flow rates
- Quality Baldwin construction that’s engineered to handle the pressure spikes and temperature swings of real construction work
- Spin-on design makes filter changes quick and clean—no messy cartridge elements to deal with
- Heavy-duty housing that withstands the constant vibration and jarring impacts of excavator operation
- High-efficiency media that captures particles and debris before they can damage sensitive hydraulic components
Built for Real Construction Work
This filter is designed for Kobelco and Komatsu excavators, wheel loaders, and other hydraulic-driven construction equipment. Whether you’re digging foundations, loading trucks, or clearing land, these machines rely on clean hydraulic fluid to operate the boom, stick, bucket, and travel motors that get the work done. The larger size of this filter means it can handle the high flow rates these bigger machines demand.
Made to Last
Construction equipment takes a beating, and hydraulic filters are no exception. Baldwin has been making filters for decades and knows what heavy equipment demands. The sturdy housing withstands pressure spikes, temperature swings, and the constant vibration that comes with construction work, while the filtration media maintains proper fluid flow even under demanding conditions.
Installation Notes
This spin-on filter threads directly onto the hydraulic filter base—just remove the old filter and thread on the new one. Apply a thin coat of clean hydraulic fluid to the gasket before installation and hand-tighten until the gasket contacts the base, then turn an additional 3/4 turn. Don’t over-tighten, as it makes the next change harder and can damage the seal.
