These self-opening lifts raise the lid quietly and smoothly to the open position (vertical) and keep it there until you lower it. All that’s required to open is a quick nudge, after which the self-opening action engages and lifts the lid without any assistance from you. Sleek profile for an attractive appearance and maximum storage space. Available in Light-, Medium-, Heavy- and Super Heavy-Duty models, depending on the size and weight of your lid.
Features:
- A self-opening lid support for seat storage, chests and more
- Use with piano, butt, or concealed hinges (sold separately)
- Holds lid in the open position
- Easy surface-mount installation
- Must be used in left/right pairs (left and right units are sold separately)
Note: See the Technical Documents for installation instructions, and to determine the correct tension for the weight and size of your lid.
