Description
Yellow Jacket 19187 Left Hand Threaded Cylinder Adapter, 3/4″ NPS x 3/8″ Male Fitting
Easily identified by double ring on tightening knurl for LH connection.
The A2L refrigerants, R-32 and R-454B, have adopted left-handed connections for their tanks. These new refrigerants are categorized as slightly flammable, so left-handed connections were implemented to differentiate them from A1, non-flammable refrigerants. As the industry adopts these new refrigerants, YELLOW JACKET® A2L Tank Adapters and Charging Hoses incorporate left-handed connections so a service technician can safely charge A2L refrigerant systems.
